The Amsterdam-based tech-house DJ can’t wait for his Dubai debut at Sandance…

I’ve never been to Dubai so I don’t know what to expect. I’ve played all over the world, from really underground venues to larger commercial clubs, so I’m good at adapting. Expect a lot of good music, somewhere between house and techno.

I play a lot of my own stuff, with quite a few remixes, plus music from artists on my label, Rejected. Every gig I played this summer went really well. I played all over the place: New York, London, Holland. But Europe didn’t see the greatest of summers, so I’m excited to be back in the sunshine.

The beauty of festivals is that you have time to go and see other acts perform. I always try to see as many acts as I can. Sometimes it’s hard because of schedules, but I always look if there’s time. And I love going to the beach, although I don’t always have time to go as much as I would like.

I’m fully booked for the rest of this year: South America, North America and a lot of gigs in Europe. I need to make sure that I’ve got enough space in my passport.
